Senior Tanker Research Analyst 

I am currently working with a leading shipping company who are looking for a Senior Tanker Research Analyst to join the research desk based in London.

As the Senior Tanker Research Analyst your role will be to provide invaluable analysis of the shipping and tanker markets, as well as the global and local events that help shape them.

The Seniors Tanker Research Analyst’s day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Gathering, processing, and analysing data from a large number of sources,
• Sophisticated modelling of supply and demand developments,
• Production of reports with both a short and long-term focus,
• Generating and distributing daily reports for clients,
• Briefing brokers on market developments,
• Researching and presenting bespoke findings to clients,
• Addressing conferences and satisfying the research needs of many stakeholders.

To qualify for this role as a Senior Tanker Research Analyst you will need to have worked in a similar role for roughly 3 years within the Tanker market. You will have a proactive approach to data and information management and a keen eye for the small details. From your previous experience you will be technically proficient in excel to a high standard, as well as this knowledge of either Microsoft Power BI, SQL, VBA is a strong advantage.
